Mix excursions : Itinerary 5 Day Trek ( Quad - Dromedary - Horseback - Bicycle ) All Inclusive

- Day 1: Marrakech - Agdaz

Pick up in Marrakech after breakfast crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass in the morning. The highest pass in North Africa at 2260m, several photo stops to enjoy the amazing scenery and vistas. Visit to a functional salt mine and an explication of different methods used to recuperate this regional pink salt. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous in ancient history as a major stopping point for the camel trains from Tombouctou to Marrakech. More recently it is known as a film site and backdrop for movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. Lunch in Ouarzazate before taking Quad vehicles out for a spin in the surrounding desert and rock formations. Continue on to Agdaz for the night’s stay and supper at a charming Riad.

- Day 2 : Agdaz - Merzouga

Leave from your riad after a traditional breakfast driving through the Draa Valley of a million plam trees. Reach the village of Rissani in time to check out the local markets and the local “donkey parking lot”. Wonderful Berber pizza for lunch ,a local specialty!!! Reach Merzouga with time to change and prepare your bag for the overnight in the desert. (Luggage is left in the car with your guide) Temperatures at this time of year warrant the necessity of gloves, hat and layered clothing. Leave with the camel guides for your trek into the Erg Chebbi Dunes and sunset over the desert. Traditional supper prepared in camp followed by music, singing and dancing. If you would like a challenge, a hike to the top of the dunes to see the stars is well worth the effort!

- Day 3 : Merzouga - Toudra Gorges - Dades

Wake early in camp and start back in time to see the sun rise over the dunes. A really beautiful sight worth the yawns!! Breakfast and showers at the hotel. Leave with your guide back towards the Valley of the Roses and the Toudra Gorge. A nap in the car is permitted. Tour the impressive and majestic Toudra Gorges by horseback, many beautiful villages and nomad families live along this picturesque valley. Picnic lunch can be arraigned along the way, just ask your guide in the morning and he will stop at a village market so that you may choose your lunch. Accompanied by traditional mint tea made over a campfire. Continue on to Dades for the night and your Riad. Traditional Moroccan supper included at the riad.

- Day 4 : Dades – Boutaghrar

After breakfast at the Riad, your guide will pick you up to continue your travels this day along the M’Goun Valley towards Boutaghrar. You will spend part of the day on bicycles touring some of the scenic and picturesque valley. Perhaps tea with one of the many nomad families along the way. Picnic or lunch at a typical Berber restaurant along the way is your choice to make that morning. Finish the day in Boutaghrar at a comfortable riad and a traditional Berber or Moroccan supper.

- DAY 5: Boutaghrar - Marrakech

After breakfast at your riad you will make the final leg of your journey on the return to Marrakech. Once more passing over the Tichka Pass with it’s amazing scenery and snow cover peaks. Arrival in mid-late afternoon in Marrakech you will be dropped off at your riad by your guide. Lunch on route, please discuss with your guide in the morning if you have any special requests.
